Frederica is a historic Kent County town on the Murderkill River, south of Dover near Route 1. Barratt's Chapel, one of the oldest Methodist churches in the country, sits just outside town.

Frederica is an incorporated town in Kent County along Route 1, about 10 miles south of Dover, between Magnolia and Milford. The Murderkill River connects the area to the Delaware Bay, and the bayside communities of Bowers Beach and South Bowers lie to the east.
